My son got pushed over by a 'big bully' in the class yesterday and had a little scratch and a bit bruises on the right-hand face. This is not the first time this boy has 'attacked' him. The first time Reynard was complaining to us that this particular boy hit his stomache....At that time, my mum just asked the boy on the next day of school whether he really do it and he simply kept quiet. Then his maid asked him to apologise to my boy but he simply refused. As we thought this is just maybe some kids pushing or playing, i did not make noise to the school.
With yesterday's case, I decided to call the Form Teacher, Mrs Peggy Yong about it. Actually yesterday it was my that MIl who bring my son back from school and she told my mum, my boy was 'raining'. My mum asked MIL how come and what happened....Then my mum discovered my son face kenna slight bruise and asked him what happened. When i came back home from work, my mum told me abt it. I called to my son and asked him to tell me exactly what happened. At first he told me Claire (one of his fav. classmate) snatched away his packet of tissue and laughed at him becoz the tissue packet was for girl(which has Disney cartoons and princesses with it) and also mentioned they call him cry baby.... I was like urghh??? Cannot be he cry for this thing.
So i asked him to tell me how he get the bruises and what happened next...The story started. He was first pushed by that 'big bully' and he fell and knock his face slightly on the floor at the music room (that's where he got the bruise)... I think it was rather painfully and he took out the packet of tissue and wipe his tears. WHen he took out the tissue, his friends laughed at him that it is girlie tissue (disney princeess) and also laughed at him as a crying baby...
I called to the teacher today and she told me she saw my boy crying and asked him what happened. She said my boy only told her the 2nd part and not the 'big bully' pushing him and the bruises. She added the children were always playing actively too. I told her i am aware that children do have falls, fights or quarrel at times and also if it is accidentally, its fine. But this is the 2nd time the same boy has 'attacked' him. This boy was actually new student. Also i told her that the first time on stomache i did not want to inform the school becoz i do not want to make a fuss on such small matter. Besides, the past 7 months from the beginning of the year, my boy has no complaint or had anything like that before unitl this big boy comes to the class.
The most horrified thing was when i left a message for the teacher to call me, the admin lady was telling me that boy was a transferred student from other school and he is a well-known boy for being very rough. I told the form teacher to keep track on my boy esp. with that big boy and also possible to change their grouping (they are both in green group now). The teacher said she will do it.
I am wondering if i making a big fuss to call the school or what??? But for my son's sake, I have to do it!
